Will God Answer Your Prayer?

Will God Answer Your Prayer?

Yes, but with one condition: You need to answer others’ “prayer”.
Today God wants us to fast and pray at the same time in order to hear both our stomach grinding, which is our own needs, and the needs of the people around us. In Isaiah, God encourages us to cloth the naked, visit the sick, share bread with the hungry and set the oppressed free. If we can do this, God will answer our prayer immediately.
God says, “Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am!”
Yesterday I had a chance to change spark plugs, spark plug wires, and do a few things for the old car of friends of mine at their house. After I started the work I realized I was entering an impossible job. I was not sure I could finish the work before 5pm. Too much, too cold and too hard for me. I was praying: Jesus, help me please. If you stand next to me at that moment, you could hear my prayer. I did say this prayer a few times during my work. Right around 5pm, I finished fixing up the car. The car could start again. I was so happy. I thanked God for answering my prayer. I believed it.
(Advice: Make sure you don’t bring your car to a mechanic that prays while he’s fixing your car. It seems he is not confident in what he’s doing.:))
Lent is a time to focus on our true necessary relationship with God, oneself and others. Do not underestimate the power of fasting and prayer. The fruit of Fasting and Prayer is Almsgiving.
Question: Do you believe that God will answer your prayer?
